Restaurant Supervisor

Full-time (45 hours) · Chogogo Dive & Beach Resort Bonaire

Imagine ending your workday with a Caribbean sunset just steps from the restaurant floor. At Chogogo Dive & Beach Resort Bonaire, you won't have to imagine it. We're looking for a Restaurant Supervisor who brings energy, oversight, and genuine hospitality to every shift.

About the role

As Restaurant Supervisor, you run the show when the Restaurant Manager is away. You lead the service team, keep the floor running smoothly, and make sure every guest leaves with a smile. From planning the day and coaching colleagues to handling the financial closing, you're the one who keeps quality, atmosphere, and teamwork on point.

What you'll do

  • Lead and coach the service team during shifts, bringing out the best in everyone

  • Welcome guests, oversee smooth and high-quality service, and resolve questions or complaints with care

  • Prepare daily planning, task distribution, and break schedules

  • Open and close the restaurant, including the daily financial closing, in the manager's absence

  • Work closely with the Restaurant Manager, Head Chef, and Sous Chef for seamless service

  • Keep an eye on the details: cleanliness, music, presentation, and safety standards (HACCP)

  • Train and support new team members and manage shift handovers

  • Scale staffing up or down based on how busy the evening gets

     

Who you are

  • A natural leader who stays calm and decisive, even when the pace picks up

  • Experienced in restaurant service, ideally with supervisory experience

  • Guest-focused, with strong communication and organizational skills

  • A coach at heart, you give clear, respectful feedback and help colleagues grow

  • Hands-on and solution-oriented: you spot issues and fix them on the spot
