The Front Office is the heartbeat of the resort, and you keep it beating. As Front Office Supervisor at Chogogo Dive & Beach Resort Bonaire, you lead the team that gives every guest a warm welcome and a carefree stay, from arrival to departure.

About the role

You run the daily Front Office operation. You coach the team on the floor, guard our service and quality standards and lead by example with a proactive, guest focused attitude. You are the first point of contact for guest questions and complaints, you keep communication between departments clear and you oversee everything from payments and room checks to the car rental operation.

What you will do

• Lead, coach and support the Front Office team during the shift, setting the example yourself

• Plan and divide the daily tasks within the team using checklists

• Ensure check in and check out run correctly and guests receive complete, accurate information

• Resolve complaints and handle sensitive situations professionally, escalating when needed

• Register and report complaints, incidents and special cases, including the daily report

• Check and carry out financial operations: payments, credit card registrations and cash control

• Coordinate daily communication with housekeeping, maintenance and rooms division

• Carry out and oversee room checks for cleanliness, maintenance and guest experience

• Coordinate the car rental operation: availability, vehicle inspections and cleaning planning

• Keep the Front Office and lobby spotless, stocked and welcoming

• Ensure a complete handover between shifts and report progress to the Front Office Manager

• Organized and stress resistant: you keep the overview when it gets busy

• Flexible, accurate and quick to act when plans change

• Comfortable with systems such as HOPR, Dyflexis and reservation software, or eager to learn them
